A Kerrville Music Tradition

The official lineup has been announced for the 46th annual Kerrville Folk Festival, and tickets are now on sale. One of the longest-running music festivals in the country, this annual tradition brings travelers from around the world every summer to hear music performed by such artists as Lyle Lovett, Steve Earle, and Lucinda Williams. Over 30,000 visitors are expected to flock to Kerrville from Thursday, May 25 until Sunday, June 11 for this year’s festival. This family-friendly festival includes folk, jazz, and bluegrass performers, a singer-songwriter competition, workshops, and children’s activities. Food and drink will be for sale, and arts & crafts vendors will be on hand. This year’s lineup includes the following performers: Kathy Mattea, Townes Van Zandt & Guy Clark, The Don Juans, Harpeth Rising, Phoebe Hunt & the Gatherers, Los Texmaniacs, and The Accidentals, in addition to others yet to be announced. Guests are advised to wear comfy shoes and bring along hats, sunscreen, light jackets/sweaters, and rain ponchos or umbrellas. Disposable cups will not be sold by our vendors, so bring along a reusable cup and lawn chairs. A variety of ticket packages and prices are available.
